You know Eskimo isn't a language, rather a family of languages... (and doublechecking that I see some dictionaries credit parka as ultimately coming from Russian - albeit through the Aleut language.)
Which is to say, althought my instinct was that anorak and parka were words imported from Eskimo languages, my logic overruled and I went for Russia (and so am feeling terribly bitter.)
